Exponent Challenge Services is one of two organizations that grew from Exponent, a company that pioneered professional ropes course construction and instructor training in Europe, founded by Stef Geens in 1993. The name 'Exponent' refers to the exponential growth potential that ropes courses represent in the areas of training and education. Today, Exponent Challenge Services offers ropes course training and consultancy on program safety. The organization also built a solid reputation with regard to ropes rescue training for outdoor programs, rope access technicians and intervention teams.
